According to the actual wine research Agiorgitko belongs to the oldest varieties which are still grown today. Does not matter.
With the 1000 Nights of Tzivani we have another Agiorgitiko in our program, and we are very glad about it.
This wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Deep dark red it flows into the glass. The nose receives messages from the sun, forest and fruit. On the palate the tannins make themselves felt at first, in preparing the stage for aromas of dark fruit with a subtle hint of vanilla.
Fits to the Mediterranean cuisine as well as to traditional German dishes.
